ABOUT

For leaders who believe that how an organisation is built matters as much as what it builds.

WHO WE ARE

A space for leaders who want to build with intention.

The Fortitude Collective exists for leaders who believe that how an organisation is built matters as much as what it builds. That the decisions made in private, the way people are treated under pressure, and the values honoured when no one is watching — these are not soft considerations. They are the foundation on which sustainable performance is built.

This is a space for leaders who want to build that foundation with intention. Who understand that clarity, trust and integrity are not constraints on growth — they are the conditions for it.

Hands Showing Unity

More than a decade working alongside educators and institutional leaders gave me an unusual vantage point. I watched organisations navigate change, pressure and growth — and I began to notice that the ones which endured did so not simply because of better strategy or stronger execution.

They endured because their people trusted each other, and because the values they claimed were genuinely reflected in how decisions were made and how people were treated.

That pattern became a conviction: that sustainable performance is not primarily a strategic problem. It is a human one. That the most important work a leader can do is to build an organisation where purpose is not just stated, but lived — consistently, at every level, under pressure as much as in good times.

The Fortitude Collective was founded on that conviction.

WHY THIS WORK

Sustainable performance is not primarily a strategic problem. It is a human one.

THE PERSON BEHIND THIS WORK

The path to this work was not a straight one.

It began in strategy consulting and executive search, where I developed an understanding of how organisations are structured, how decisions are made, and what separates institutions that endure from those that merely survive. That foundation was deepened by more than a decade in education — first as a teacher, then as a facilitator working with school leaders, educators and students on the practice of character and values development.

In that time, I worked with over 1,000 educators across Singapore, helping them develop the skills and confidence to facilitate meaningful conversations about values, trust and what it means to lead with integrity. What I brought away from those years was not a methodology. It was a refined ability to see — to notice the patterns beneath behaviour, the tensions beneath performance, and the human dynamics that determine whether a team truly coheres or merely cooperates.

Today, as the founder and principal of The Fortitude Collective, I work with leaders and organisations in the corporate and social sectors. This is a deliberately small practice. Every engagement is led by me personally — because this work requires continuity, presence and trust, and those things cannot be delegated.

THIS WORK IS FOR YOU IF...

You are a leader navigating something that strategy alone cannot solve.

-       A tension between growth and the culture you want to protect

-       A team that is capable on paper but not yet truly unified in practice

-       An organisation moving through transition — new leadership, rapid change, or a values drift you want to address before it becomes a crisis

-       A private need for a thinking partner who will be honest with you, not just useful to you

You do not need to have the answers.
You do need to be willing to look clearly at what is real,
and to do the work that follows from that.
